What should I wear?
World Class Voyager focuses mainly on sightseeing, cultural, culinary and wine tasting experiences, therefore we suggest that you wear casual comfortable clothes that reflect the season in which you choose to travel in Italy. On the Italian peninsula climate and temperatures can vary widely from day and night especially in Spring and Fall.
Since we focus mainly on Central/Southern Italy we suggest that if you are traveling in the spring, March to May that you bring a light jacket and at least one sweater so that you can regulate changes in daytime and night temperatures and a combination of long and short pants are a good idea as sometimes the spring can be chilly as it can be very hot, and we always
reccomend your most comfortable walking shoes and never heels.
If you are traveling from June through September we suggest you pack your lightest clothing possible, mostly shorts and a light summer sweater or jacket for the evenings, considering that the months of July and August in Italy can be very hot.
Note: if you suffer from intense heat we advise you to travel in the months of April, May, September and October or winter months instead, as Italy in the wintertime has its own charm and beauty.
If you are traveling in October and November consider that in southern Italy October is usually a warm month and you should dress as we suggested for the spring, November can be surprisingly warm but it is considered a cool month and therefore warmer clothing is recommended but nothing extremely heavy as temperatures will range from the 50's at night up to the 70's in the day.
As far as December, January and February are concerned, warmer clothing is recommended and a medium weight winter jacket or sweater is recommended, avoid artic wear as temperatures will usually be in the 40's and 60's, and remember always wear comfortable walking shoes and absolutely no heels.
What type and amount of baggage can I carry on my day tour?
We recommend that you travel lite on day tours, a handbag with essentials such as water, tissue paper, camera, phone or whatever else you may carry with you on a daily basis will be more than sufficient, and depending on the weather, a sweater or jacket could come in handy, also take note that in certain touring sites only handbags are permitted.
