Welcome to Italy! Your journey begins as our driver greets you upon arrival at Naples International Airport, Naples Central, or Naples Afragola Station. transfers are scheduled throughout the day for your convenience, ensuring a seamless and stress-free transition to your accommodation.
Once onboard, you’ll be escorted to your hotel, nestled in the scenic Southern Apennine Mountains—a serene retreat perfectly situated as our central base for the week. Take the afternoon to unpack, unwind, and settle into your new surroundings.
In the evening, gather with your tour leader and fellow travelers in the hotel restaurant for a welcoming dinner. Over local specialties, you'll receive a relaxed overview of the week's itinerary and get acquainted before our adventures begin.
Day 2 Naples
The Historic Heart of Naples
If you were to visit only one city in Europe, let it be Naples. Steeped in thousands of years of rich history, this captivating city sits at the crossroads of ancient Mediterranean civilizations, each leaving an indelible mark on its vibrant culture, architecture, and cuisine.
Today, you will step into the heart of one of the world's most compelling destinations. We begin our exploration in the Naples Historic Center—the largest in Europe and a designated UNESCO World Heritage Site. As you stroll through its atmospheric spaccanapoli streets, noble piazzas, and centuries-old alleyways, you’ll discover majestic baroque churches, hidden courtyards, and the timeless rhythm of everyday Neapolitan life.
After an immersive guided walk through its storied past, enjoy a relaxed lunch savoring authentic local specialties—including world-famous Neapolitan pizza—before returning to our mountain sanctuary in the evening.
Day 3 Pompeii - Mount Vesuvius vineyard tour
Ancient Pompeii & Wine Tasting on Mount Vesuvius
Step back nearly two millennia for an extraordinary encounter with classical antiquity at Pompeii, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the world's most significant archaeological treasures. Frozen in time by the tragic eruption of Mount Vesuvius in 79 AD, this remarkably preserved Roman city offers an unmatched window into daily life in the ancient world. Accompanied by an expert English-speaking guide, you’ll walk preserved stone streets, admiring intricate frescoes, grand amphitheaters, and sprawling villas while uncovering the fascinating stories behind these ancient ruins.
Following your journey through antiquity, we travel up the fertile slopes of Mount Vesuvius to an exceptional private vineyard. Here, volcanic soil nurtures vibrant, historic grape varieties—most notably the renowned Lacryma Christi (Tears of Christ). Take a leisurely tour through the scenic vines, then settle in for a fabulous multi-course lunch showcasing authentic Campania specialties, each dish thoughtfully paired with exquisite local wines produced right on the estate.
Day 4 Amalfi Coast
The Majestic Amalfi Coast
Prepare for a breathtaking journey along one of the world's most spectacular coastlines. Today, we traverse the full expanse of the Amalfi Coast, winding from its eastern gateway in Vietri sul Mare all the way to iconic Positano. As we journey along dramatic cliffside roads high above the Tyrrhenian Sea, you’ll catch glimpses of picturesque coastal villages tucked into rugged coves—including Cetara, Maiori, Minori, and charming Atrani.

Ravello: Perched high above the sea, this tranquil hilltop haven offers stunning panoramic views, lush gardens, and an understated elegance that has inspired artists for centuries.

Amalfi: Steeped in maritime history, Amalfi invites you to wander its sunlit piazzas, marvel at the striking Arab-Norman Cathedral, and soak in its relaxed coastal charm.

Positano: The crown jewel of the coastline, Positano mesmerizes with its cascade of pastel-colored houses clinging to the cliffside. Spend your time browsing boutique shops, enjoying the lively beachfront atmosphere, and taking in the quintessential views that make this region world-famous.
Day 5 Paestum
Ancient Greek Temples of Paestum & Countryside Traditions
Long before the rise of the Roman Empire, Southern Italy was the heart of Magna Graecia—a flourishing realm of ancient Greek culture and commerce. Nowhere is this legacy more striking than in Paestum. Today, you’ll marvel at three of the best-preserved ancient Greek temples in the world, standing majestically against a backdrop of countryside and sea: the soaring Temple of Neptune, the elegant Temple of Hera, and the hill-perched Temple of Athena.
Guided through this exceptional archaeological site and its world-class museum, you’ll uncover the secrets of ancient builders and view famed artifacts, including the remarkable tomb paintings of the Diver.
Beyond antiquity, the region is celebrated as the undisputed capital of Mozzarella di Bufala. Following our site tour, we'll venture into the lush surrounding countryside to visit a local organic buffalo farm. Here, you’ll discover the traditional art of cheesemaking firsthand, enjoy a tasting of freshly made mozzarella, and savor a peaceful afternoon immersed in the pastoral beauty of the Italian landscape.
Day 6 Royal Palace
Royal Grandeur of Caserta & Spartacus's Gladiator Arena
Prepare for a day defined by monumental history and breathtaking scale, starting at the magnificent Royal Palace of Caserta (Reggia di Caserta). A UNESCO World Heritage Site and the largest royal residence in the world, this 18th-century masterpiece was designed by architect Luigi Vanvitelli to rival Versailles. Step inside to admire its grand marble staircases, gilded throne rooms, and opulent royal apartments spanning over 1,200 rooms. Outside, the estate’s majestic 3-kilometer park stretches toward the distant hills, featuring cascading waterfalls, intricate fountains, and lush English gardens.
In the afternoon, we step back into classical antiquity at the Amphitheater of Capua in nearby Santa Maria Capua Vetere. As the second-largest Roman amphitheater after Rome's Colosseum, this imposing arena holds an extraordinary place in legend: it was home to the ancient gladiator school where Spartacus led his historic uprising against the Roman Republic. Walk the quiet subterranean passageways where gladiators once prepared for combat, reflecting on the compelling history of this iconic site.
Day 7 Departure
Farewell to Italy & Safe Travels
As our time together comes to a close, enjoy a quiet morning breakfast surrounded by the peaceful beauty of the Apennine hills, reflecting on a week filled with rich history, unforgettable landscapes, and shared memories. Though our journey through Campania draws to its end, the vibrant warmth of Naples, the grandeur of its ancient past, and the stunning beauty of the coast will stay with you long after you return home.
